First, print a copy of this poem, and read it through at least twice. When you feel like you have a grasp of what 2pac is trying to say, cut out the words or phrases, on your copy, that prove your opinion. Now, write one page stating what you think the author was feeling when he wrote it. Was he trying to accomplish something? Paste in the cut words and phrases to support your analysis; these words should become part of your sentences, part of your thoughts (minus 10 points for the word 'show' anywhere in your paper). When you have finished, read it aloud and fix any 'floating' quotes; be certain that you have used quotation marks. You may decorate as you choose. Questions?Contact me.

Sometimes when I'm alone
Cause I am on my own.
The tears I cry are bitter and warm.
They flow with life but take no form
I Cry because my heart is torn.
I find it difficult to carry on.
If I had an ear to confiding,
I would cry among my treasured friend,
but who do you know that stops that long,
to help another carry on.
The world moves fast and it would rather pass by.
Then to stop and see what makes one cry,
so painful and sad.
and no one cares about why.
