There is no one as important to your child's education as you are; thank you for all of the support you offer at home. If there is anything I can do to support you in this task, please contact me. I try to keep up with assignments and changes in our calendar so that you will always know what your student is responsible for. In addition, worksheets are usually available on the assignments page by the day they are introduced in class; if your student is absent , please feel free to download and print them so he or she does not fall behind. Plus, new this year, I have incorporated a blog so that the students may help each other out with their questions; feel free to visit it at any time.
The sixth six weeks, our English I focus will be on Short Stories; the stories that I have chosen are carefully selected for the classroom discussions they will evoke. If you have any questions about what we are studying or discussing, please contact me at your convenience.
I expect each student to achieve to their personal best and to respect others that may be on a different level. I will be sending home a copy of our class rules and a syllabus that will require your signature. If you have any questions, please contact me at anytime.
Also, if you will send me an email address or current phone number, I can help you keep up to date with your student's success; you may also keep track of your student's grades through our computer program.
Please ask your student the Question of the Week: What supplies do you
