Here we are already! The year is complete and your students are approaching the final assessment of what they have learned this year. This weekend, encourage your student to practice their reading skills. Their exam will focus on comprehension and analyzing the literary elements and characterization techniques. Please let me know if I can support you in any way.
There is no one as important to your child's education as you are; thank you for all of the support you offer at home. If there is anything I can do to support you in this task, please contact me. I try to keep up with assignments and changes in our calendar so that you will always know what your student is responsible for. In addition, worksheets are usually available on the assignments page by the day they are introduced in class; if your student is absent , please feel free to download and print them so he or she does not fall behind. Plus, new this year, I have incorporated a blog so that the students may help each other out with their questions; feel free to visit it at any time.
I expect each student to achieve to their personal best and to respect others that may be on a different level. If you have any questions, please contact me at anytime.
Also, if you will send me an email address or current phone number, I can help you keep up to date with your student's success; you may also keep track of your student's grades through our computer program.
Please ask your student the Question of the Week: What has happened this year to affirm that your reading is improving?
