English I A - Second Six Weeks - The Odyssey
Success Depends On You!
Below are the assignments you need to complete for the second six weeks of English I.
1. Quia Quiz "Leaving it All Behind" - this quiz is over a nonfiction reading from the freshman English textbook. You may use a textbook to read the passage, or you may see me for a code (or message me for the code below) for the online textbook. If you choose to use the online textbook, when you sign in with the code you will need to scroll down and choose "Texas Treasures, Course 4 Student Edition" (the blue one with the BIRD on it) . Choose the student edition (the teacher edition does not give you any answers and the page numbers don't match up), and enter the page number at the top so you don't have to electronically turn every page. You will need to register for Quia first. You may take this quiz more than once (but you may need to let me know to reset it , especially if you take it multiple times).
Resources: Online Textbook - see me for the code, then choose "Texas Treasures, Course 4 Student Edition" (the blue one with the BIRD on it), page 931. - Remember, if you are in class, it's probably easier just to borrow a book from me.
