I will start :) I am the mother and grandmother of 7! 6 daughters, one son and 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons. I have been teaching at Sam for 5 years now and wrote this online program because I know life can be hard sometimes. I want to help you graduate! Let me know if you need something from me to be successful; I will do whatever I can.

Can you be more specific about the help you need? Sonnets are located in two different six weeks-Poetry and Shakespeare. Are you trying to write one or analyze one?

The Sonnet assignments from fourth 6th weeks are about paraphrasing and analyzing. The Shakespeare sonnet needs to be paraphrased on the lines given. A paraphrase is when we write simply what the basic meaning of the words are in our own words- we do not try to understand the author's underlying meaning. For example the metaphor "her lips are like roses" would be paraphrased something like " her outer mouth is like a colorful flower" even though we understand that what the author is really saying is that they are red and beautiful. There is an example given on the front of the sheet. The worksheet assignment over "Love is not All" is asking for analysis of the two poem included- simply read the poems and answer the questions the best you can. If you need help, let me know.

hi :) my name is Melissa Bernal, I'm 18 years old, and i am full Mexican. I was born in mexico and came to the United States or Texas when I was 8 months old with my mom and my 1 year old sister at the time. Yes, I am legal here and i have been going to mexico every summer with my family whenever possible. With God's blessing I will be graduating this year with my class. Not sure on what I really want to be when I get older but one thing I do know is that I will be attending TCC once I do graduate and do my basics and see where live takes me.
